Sweet little Boo

Boo came home from school the other day with tears in his eyes. His best friend was upset at him, and he didn’t know exactly why. He decided to make her a card.

He worked on it by himself with no assistance with spelling. [I'm not sure if he was actually crying when he wrote that he was 'criing', but he had been earlier so perhaps a little artistic license.]
UPDATE: He did not misspell crying. I didn’t look carefully enough. Thanks, Heather, for pointing that out.

He really seemed to want to drive home the fact that his heart was broken.

And to end on a happy note, he envisioned the two of them with another friend on a rainbow with unicorns. What could be better?

Oh my. I’m stunned by the absolute hurt and adorableness of this.

I really hope he gets an answer and resolution to his broken heart.

Oh my! My heart is breaking for little Boo. :) What a sweet boy, and with such strong feelings! A broken heart? Wow. I just want to hug him. Heather’s dead on that it would be wonderful to keep this for someday when they’re older. Thank you for sharing this.

How awesome is this?!?! We want our kids to be sensitive but for him to be able to take this on himself without nagging intervention from adults is well,…..I continue to say that WE could learn a LOT from children.

Aww… such a sweet card, I hope his heart is mended soon. I do have to point out that he spelled crying correctly. The dot you’re seeing is the bottom of the ! exclamation point, further driving home his “broken heart!” You can just barely see the split in the y below it. Sorry, just couldn’t let Boo go down like that… now “frind” is a different story….lol ;o) Seriously, I hope she keeps this card and one day when they have another fight as teenagers, she can pull it out to show him.

This is so sweet and so sad, it almost makes me cry! Hope poor Boo can work it out.
